WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION FOR DEVELOPING THIS BUSINESS?
We wanted to be contributors towards a better planet for our children today and, in turn, for their children.
DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC TRAINING IN CREATING FORMULAS FOR HERBAL PRODUCTS?
Yes, I am a qualified RHS Horticulturalist (registered with the Royal Horticultural Society in the UK), a landscape architect and a certified aromatherapist.
Our products are primarily aimed at those in the 25-50 age range, including those pursuing outdoor adventure holidays such as hiking, sailing, diving and so forth, as well as business travelers and those taking luxury global vacations both on land and at sea.

Yes I do think so. After several years of having our markets saturated with cheap imports from Asia, I think people now want to see more things made in their own country and want to support that. There is also a shift towards products that contribute to a healthy lifestyle and sustainability.
They are highly concentrated which means they will last longer, more economical.

The Luxury Herbal Shampoo is a solid disk shape in a light yellow color and is said to be for “dry/normal hair.” It smelled very nice and fresh with a mix of selected essential oils, including USDA certified organic lime, rosemary, and spearmint. Other ingredients listed on the outer package include pro-vitamin B5, USDA certified organic coconut oil, oat protein, and more.
The Luxury Herbal Conditioner V-Keratin came in a similar solid disk shape but in a light green color. The product also smelled very nice. The ingredients listed are similar to the shampoo but with some other additions and variations. Instead of breaking off a piece, the instructions say to take the whole bar and glide it along your shampooed and rinsed wet hair. I assumed that meant a top-down glide motion starting in the front and repeating all the way around your head. So that's what I did. Move the bar off to the side and out of the water stream; massage the product into your hair with your fingers. I waited a few moments, then rinsed out.
The two products worked fine in tandem; I had no issues.
Sustainable essential oils are not inexpensive ingredients, so expect to pay more for these specialty items than you would for mass-market shampoos and conditioners. For the right consumer, the prices are reasonable.
It feels just a bit sticky at first on the top of your skin, but soon after it is absorbed. You can rub it in lightly with your fingers too. I live in mosquito-friendly south Florida, and I had no bites after a walk outdoors around a local park. So far, success. I don't know how long this product lasts before you have to reapply, but certainly it did not irritate me or bother me with the annoying smells of the traditional anti-bug sprays. Worth a try if you are the “outdoorsy” type or maybe like to putter around your home garden. If you are a frequent weekend hiker or camper, then you definitely should try out this product.
While these products are not just for travelers, I can see their value in particular for travelers who want to minimize space for toiletries and avoid liquids or gels that can leak out of containers and make a mess. Knowing that these products are all-natural and biodegradable is a really big plus.
